Versoix Switzerland; Yes, Switzerland, Look It Up

 This photo depicts the way it feels here in Southwest Virginia today. We are experiencing below zero wind chills; with temperatures ranging between 10 and 12 degrees. It's too damn cold for a nice old fashioned snow! I love winter, but I miss those days when the temperatures were just cold, and not bitter. We don't live on Lake Erie for heaven sakes. I lived by the lake in Cleveland for several years, and one would expect the bitter winds there; in the downtown area especially. But not in Southwest Virginia. Where's the rise in temperature for the deep snow, huh?
