I'm off to bed early tonight, because I cannot think of a better way to keep warm than to cuddle under the covers with Sam, the dogs, and "Pickle". Tonight, I can't believe it was ever as warm as it looks in the picture below, of the tomato from our summer garden.
It is presently 18 degrees, and with the wind chill, it feels like 0. Schools are on a 2-hour delay in the morning, so the little tots don't freeze at the bus stops. I really enjoyed the snow this week, and the warmer temperatures. This bitter stuff hurts the ole' knees and all the other arthritic parts I have that are holding out for better days.
Goodnight all.
