I made it through today. And, I must say, the cook prepares very nice lunches over at my community services board. She makes her country potato salad the way I do; mashed, with eggs, pickles, and mayonaise. Yuuuuum.

I slid my badge through the clock this morning, but forgot to slide it again when I left at 4pm., so I'm still on the clock....should have a fairly nice check for today--heh.

I am very proud to tell you that our CSB. is on board with the newest popular theme in mental health for the state of Virginia. They were all about revovery and wellness today in each of their speeches to us newbies. Let us hope their efforts to present themselves well today will resonate throughout the coming months...

My first presentation from the perspective of the consumer, will be on Wednesday morning at 11:10am. I am not terribly nervous now, since I met some of the people today to whom I will be speaking; however, I am still nervous enough. There will be approximately 12 people at Wednesday's meeting. Yep, nervous enough!

I spoke with my friend, who is now also my co-worker, and she tells me I have an office to call my own. They were situating my desk and cabinets today as I sat at the administrative office listening to each administrative person give their pitch. Coolness. My very own office!! I never had that when I did speech therapy in the school system years ago. I guess I'm really somebody now--heh. Well of course I am.
