Well, it seems my patience and marriage vows have truely been put to the test this year concerning the %*&#&*# 9 ft. Christmas tree! Sam is now napping on the couch after one more blow with the tree. I finished what I could of the lights. He will have to finish the very top.

It seems at one point when I wasn't watching, he decided to pull the lights yet again, and rearrange them in a different direction. Needless to say, I almost have them the way they need to be, even without the 4th strand of 100 or 150 lights. Whichever.

Sam will find when he awakes that the 4th strand he manually designed for the tree last year, are not working anymore. What I mean by designed here, is that my loving husband individually alternated red and white lights on all four strands of wiring, so that the lights would glow on this tree in perfect array. He did this just for me. No need for me to place an angel on my tree this year really. Sam is my angel. Everybody say, "aaaaah"...

Sam and I just had a blowup over the lights. He insists on placing the lights around the tree too tightly even when I tell him ask him to simply lay them around the tree so we can work them through the limbs easier later. I suppose you caught that; I can be bossy! Don't ya' think I realize it? I mean, after all, don't most women become raving maniacs frustrated from time to time with our male companions when they won't obey us listen to reason?

*The lights are laying nicely on the tree; I have been informed. It is my honorable duty to be kind and go check them out.

Writing really does save me. I find solace here. Had to go  scream into a pillow get away from the tree for a moment, then think it all through here in my haven. Can anyone out there relate to these blues?
