* Disclaimer: This entry is not intended to come across as a sermon. I simply enjoy the music and lyrics of the song, as sung by Kenny Rogers and Wynonna Judd; and wish to record it here for memory, as such. I have not read the other items of poetry or prose in this woman's website; I cannot speak of them, other than after scanning over a few of the poems, I wasn't inclined to read on. I simply enjoy this song. The cool thing about blogging is, each of us have the freedom and right to express ourselves in our own spaces, without infringing upon another's right to discard our thoughts. I like the song. Feel free to enjoy it with me or move on to another entry.
I cannot prove this story to be true in any easier fashion than it would be for another to prove its falsehood. In this light, the issue is one in which each of us must determine what is real to us, of our faith in the unseen. The tale, in and of itself, seems preposterous to our human psyche. The story has taken on many forms. It has been told over countless ages. It is often more than a mind would even want to comprehend; yet, it is a tale whose mysteries have not faded from thought with the passing of time.
Merry Magic!
